Married in Pismo Beach

A beach wedding is always a magical thing!  With the sand at your feet, the waves crashing and the beautiful glow of the ocean.  This young couple was happy to be celebrating their love and be married in Pismo Beach.

For a lot of us, Pismo Beach has memories of childhood – going to the beach for spring break, stopping by Splash, boogie boarding on the beach.  But for a lot of our happy couples, Pismo Beach also brings love.

A gentle breeze, family and friends, roses and baby’s breath, a bride and a groom both wearing white – what could be more perfect for a wedding on the beach.   And, as this married couple left the site after the ceremony, the cheers and applause from by-standers on the beach greeted them.

For their wedding pictures, the photographer took them under the pier. I always like the photos with the pier in the background or under the pier since it is so Pismo like. If you have a special connection to Pismo Beach, getting married with the pier in the back is always special.  But, make sure to get married when it’s not the middle of summer!  This couple was lucky since there were not a lot of people on the beach.

Weddings are such a special time to reflect upon what has led up to this moment and what the future holds for the newly-married couple.   It is especially meaningful when loved ones can share in the moment and continue to encourage and support the couple.   And, surely, this couple will receive plenty of support and love.   Here’s to a happy life together!
